Dr. Maegan Knutson is a native to Washington, living and studying in the state throughout her life. While
attending Seattle Massage School, she became interested in the theory and practice of natural
medicine.
She began to discover the bodies’ innate ability to healand the power of lifestyle changes.
She was so impressed; she knew she needed to continue studying. On her way to Bastyr, she earned a
bachelor of science in botany at the University of Washington. While at Bastyr, she earned a doctorate
degree in Naturopathic Medicine and masters degree in Acupuncture. Traveling to China to she
completed additional Acupuncture training and completed an internship at Reijin Medical Hospital of
Shanghai.
She is a speaker for Evergreen Hospitals community outreach programs as well as local senior centers.
She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), Washington
Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP), the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce, and a
diplomate of the National Certification Commission Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Her
practice of Naturopathic Medicine, Crainiosacral Therapy, and Acupuncture provide excellent tools to
guide patients towards optimal health. She believes that symptoms are often the reflection of stress and
imbalance. Her ultimate goal is to help patients make healthier choices and restore balance in their lives.
